In all sincerity, if they get this through and agree to fund DHS, I will never vote for a Democrat again. I am floored by the spinelessness, and I've been had too many times. It's just embarrassing that it took me this long to figure that out.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) on Thursday said House Democrats will demand a ban on the deportation of American citizens as a condition of winning their support for legislation funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

I know he's busy with the new job, but I can think of one guy who might be able to convince Trump that his natural charisma and likeability are being undermined by the actions of a certain evil thumb-shaped vizier

I joined agriculture leaders from across the state today in Mankato for the Minnesota Ag Expo. Minnesota farmers are the backbone of our economy, and we must ensure they have what they need to thrive—strong markets and stable trade policies.

Please be aware that contrary to their fundraising ads, @forwardblue.bsky.social has no relationship with the No Kings mobilizations, no record of doing anything in support, no inside information, and is ignoring requests to cease advertising that suggests they are involved.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

Local water district is trying and failing to cope with the fact that sewage sludge is increasingly contaminated with PFAS and there's simply no cost effective way to deal with it.

I'm sure spraying unbreakdownable chemicals on crops is fine, though.
I personally know heroes on the front line for years trying to save us from these chemicals only to have it all wash away and come back worse.

If you want a good introduction.

Larry Summers wrote a memo claiming that Africa was "underpolluted", and we're supposed to be surprised that he's also a sex pest scumbag? He should've been ostracized by the left three decades ago.

There are so many reasons to vote for Mamdani, and many more reasons why one should not vote for Cuomo.

A huge, not insignificant one, is rewarding @lindseyboylan.bsky.social for the nonstop work she has done to make sure sexually abusive old men don’t get to lord over all of us anymore.
