Our state continues to suffer under the economic terrorism of Ice and this regime. We are signatories on this letter, calling for our representatives to fight back and to fight for our small businesses.

I’m at the Saint Ben’s v. Macalester basketball game and the Macalester team is wearing Ice Out of MN shirts during warm-ups and it’s so great! I’m a Bennie alum but I yelled “I love your shirts!”

Oh, you want me to know where my credit card is at all times? Best I can do is have a general sense of where it might be.

I can't believe Dawson has died. He's my age! I feel for his family. Cancer can get bent.

things have not changed here. please, if you’re not in minnesota, do not look away. please prepare where you are. this is what they’ll do to your community next.
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Minnesota is the sin eater for the whole nation right now. What we do and advocate for here is going to echo across the country. I think the stakes could not be higher and that is why I think we need boldness and unity behind Abolish ICE.

Excuse me, @jimmyeatworld.bsky.social, but why are you not coming to Minneapolis for your Bleed American 25th Anniversary Tour when that is where I, a big fan, am? Come on!

We’ve all had days where we’ve woken up, forgotten to brush our teeth, and closed all El Paso airspace for an hour instead.

My sense of Minnesota today is that there’s less tear gas and the same amount of unlawful detention, destruction of families, loss of livelihood, people in hiding.

There is less tear gas at places like Lake and Lyndale, so it’s not making news.

You could just ask people in Minnesota about the conditions on the ground here rather than reskeeting non-MN wannabe influencer/pundit types with some fact-free vibes about what they say Minnesotans have told them.

Living in Minnesota right now feels like being in the emergency room. Literally everyone is suffering in different ways, even if it's "just" a badly twisted ankle rather than a kidney stone or a full-on heart attack. The staff are working as hard as they can but energy and resources are dwindling.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Powderhorn Rent Fund. Unfortunately, Governor Walz has refused to enact an eviction moratorium, so we need the help of our community.

There are only 2 commercials I remember from last night. The Levi's commercial, featuring butts, which delighted me, & Dunkin Donuts' de-aged celebrity commercial, which gave me the cringe. I also remember the Backstreet Boys' music, but not what the commercials were for, so you all failed.

He is not a good leader and rarely has been for Minnesota. I sighed in relief when he announced he wasn’t running because I did not want to vote for his wish-washy nonsense again. He stands for nothing and is not meeting this moment with any sort of true leadership. I said what I said. Fight me.
Axios reports @governorwalz.mn.gov won’t call an eviction moratorium because it is “legally fraught” yet the definition sure sounds like one. www.mprnews.org/story/2023/0...

What made it such a great show is that it was entertaining and layered and explicitly political with excellent music, delightful surprise guests, stunning sets, a clear narrative, a shout out to ALL of the Americas and a cameo from Belcalis.
