From some boos on Sunday to multiple standing ovations tonight. This is Timberwolves basketball.

123-111 Timberwolves beat the Thunder.

The question is not "do the Wolves have enough to trade for Giannis?" but rather "do the Bucks have enough to trade for Jaden McDaniels?"

This was a whole lot of words to say absolutely nothing. Let’s end the era where these corporations control politicians.
A letter released Sunday by the leaders of more than 60 Minnesota companies — including the CEOs of Target, General Mills, UnitedHealth Group and 3M — called for local and federal leaders to “come together to foster progress.”
Live: Minnesota's high-profile CEOs break silence, call for ‘immediate deescalation’
The letter marks a notable shift from Minnesota’s top employers, who had previously remained quiet about the surge of immigration officials in the state and the killing of Renee Good.

These losers could pay all of these gofundmes if they wanted to and not feel a thing financially. If you're not opening your wallets and *this* is the statement you came up with 50+ days into the occupation, maybe don't bother saying anything.

Time for a new generation of leaders to lead. Does your work in your business reflect the mission and values you have posted online? Or is that just for PR.
INBOX: 60+ CEOs of Minnesota-based company call for "an immediate deescalation of tensions and for state, local and federal officials to work together to find real solutions."

No mention of ICE in the letter.

Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti.

"Please get the truth out about our son."

For anyone who thinks they're safe: ICE is murdering 30something white guys named "Alex." They'll murder you too if they get the chance. That's why everyone needs to give everything they have to stopping this occupation.

On one side is a nurse and a poet dying while saying “Are you okay?” and “I'm not even mad at you dude"

And on the other side are armed officers of the state saying “Boo hoo” and “Fucking bitch.”

And they want you to believe the first side are the domestic terrorists.
Alex Pretti’s last words were “are you ok?” said the woman next to him who ICE also pepper sprayed in the face.

Stephen Miller called the victim, an ICU nurse at the VA filming ICE, a “domestic terrorist who tried to assassinate federal law enforcement.” Greg Bovino said he “wanted to massacre law enforcement.” You saw the videos. How can any Republican not call for their resignations?

ICE agents will continue to execute our citizens in the streets for as long as they believe they can get away it. There will be more executions like this. What are our leaders doing to prevent it?

Anyways my last thought on this for now is this:

Minneapolis (and Minnesota for that matter) is going to save this godforsaken country, if there's ever any sliver of a chance for it to be saved.

If the Wolves REALLY want the city behind them, regardless of wins or losses, they gotta use their platform tomorrow and moving forward. Join us in speaking out. Protest. Their visibility matters.

It’s no comfort, but the official DHS line being “he can be killed by masked agents of the state because he had a legal gun” is such an interesting new frontier in how Trump has made the conservative movement very publicly and embarrassingly abandon every principal it once claimed.
