One thing you should know and forever remember about January 6 is that it’s the birthdate of abolitionist Charles Sumner, a champion of pro-Black equality and forefather of the 14th Amendment, which gave us equal protection of the laws and forever barred insurrectionists from public office.

Just thinking about how a board of trustee member voted against certifying Electoral College votes after Jan 6, then went on little press tour and fundraised off of insulting the faculty after he got criticism for that vote, and then got reappointed to the board.
