Zohran Mamdani, the new mayor of New York City, called President Trump on Saturday to personally object to strikes the U.S. had conducted in Venezuela and to the capture of its leader, Nicolás Maduro. Mamdani accused Trump of violating international law.
I kind of wonder if they planned to do this “capture” last month, which would explain Trump’s request to speak to the nation, but instead they couldn’t launch it for some reason and instead we just got the random rambling.

Violating the sovereignty of another country to enforce the sovereignty of your own is a strategy, but it’ll probably work for this SCOTUS.
