This is also what made Obsidian click for me. I was *so* tired of learning to write in one tool and then having to move to another. Well, now it's just something living atop the markdown files that *I* own.

Can't wait for the loosened up, non-perfect, but quickly shipped AI-enhanced updates to hit my banking and insurance services next year.

Im sure there will be no issues there at all.

Depth Anything V3 now runs in real-time with our karl.'s camera data predicting metric depth from monocular images. With TensorRT optimization, we’ve wrapped it into a ROS2 inference node that’s ready to drop into your stack.

Robots don’t work. If it worked they would call it a machine. You can tell it’s a robot because it’s not doing what it’s supposed to do.

Made a pen plotter for under $20 and some 3d printed parts. It serves up a whole web server, just connect, draw, and plot. No drivers or installs for the user, just open a browser. Full writeup here hackaday.io/project/2045... #cnc #3dprinting #esp32 #penplotter #stem

Which is a completely normal thing to do. 😂

A few fixes later, here’s the robot’s new PCB alternating power between batteries and the Jetson Orin Nano’s 19V adapter.

In both configurations, different voltages are regulated for the MCU, the sensors and logic, and the motors, with a total max power of around 60W.

Looking over my motor controller to see what components are limiting my max DC motor voltage right now and I check the datasheet for the EG3113 gate driver and it's +600 volts. Like lmao okay not that one then

When I read “oh! the places you’ll go” I didn’t ever imagine that would include an underground robot boxing match, where a pair of people attempt to play rock em sock em robots with 4 foot tall unitree bipeds.
Remember the first rule of robot fight club is that we turn off logging.

Made some updates to the USB-C PD circuit and pushed to github. You can view the board in this web viewer [1]. I also remembered I made this smaller than a credit card or a business card! I could use this as a cool circuit board business card. ⚡

I have made great progress on my RP2350 powered open source brushless motor (and industrial stepper) controller! This board supports up to 53v max, 30+A peak (depends on thermals), and is designed so anyone can order them from JLCPCB. I also just added USB-PD for 100W at 20V via USB-C!
