Been on a journey messing with conductive PLA for 3d printing. I was seeing if I could print a fuse (because why not melt plastic into your projects), but ended up with a fairly decent resistor. hackaday.io/project/2042... #electronics #3dprinting
3D Printed Electrical Fuses
For this project, I am looking to 3d print 5x20mm barrel fuses with conductive filament, the kind you find in small electronics and older automotive applications. I will use a bench top power supply, ...

Interesting discussion from @withenoughcoffee.com at #SeaGL2025 on AI bias, how to improve it, and why we need to be deliberate in how we use AI systems.

Great keynote from @evan.cosocial.ca.ap.brid.gy at #SeaGL2025. I will definitely be diving into the #fediverse to learn more.

I am trying to learn how AI works, so I am building my own from scratch. Just to add some fun, I am also fitting it on an esp32, and making it a Shakespearean character. Trained on open source data, just mention @constabledogberry.bsky.social to get a reply. #esp32 #STEM github.com/johnsonfarms...

It took a few iterations, I am still new to color 3d printing, but I think it came out well. See you at #TeaGL! #SeaGL #SeaGL2025

@bsky.app There is an issue with the search function, in the app and the API. When sorting by latest for a hashtag like #SeaGL2025, if there is a pinned post it messes up the order of the results. You can sort locally after a pull but with small hardware it's an issue. #BlueskyBugs #BlueskySupport

So anyone else going to #SeaGL2025? This is my first go. Is a digital name tag with live hashtag updates for the event too nerdy or over the top? Like what level of nerd-core is appropriate? @seagl.org #gnu #linux

Working on my #SeaGL2025 Badge (Unofficial), I am trying to have it pull the three most recent hashtags for the event and update every couple of minutes. This post is actually a test to see if it is working.

Make your own weather station project. This uses the Lilygo T-Display with the ESP32, wifi and bluetooth. It costs about $10 and has probably a million other uses, but this was a quick easy project. Get the code and the details at github.com/johnsonfarms...
