Wound up chatting tonight with an DC based EPA lawyer visiting for the weekend, lived through Trump 1.0, said administration switches used to be interesting/fun at the EPA and the DOJ since you could understand where the politics ended, but now there was just destruction.

Sure vibe coding can make you super productive… but I just spent multiple hours porting my current project to windows so I could use the visual studio debugger. VSC on unbuntu’s C++ debugger is out classed by visual studio 6.0 (which shipped in 1998) it’s really a travesty how bad Linux gdb is.
