It's probably not sensible for this scale. PCB material is surprisingly strong though. Aluminum would clearly be 'better' but a pack of 5pcb would be <$5 and would only take an hour or so to draw out. I could then also probably use the DXF for aluminum laser later. In short the upside is ease/price

You could also buy an overpriced Orin in a box: www.zauberzeug.com/products/rob... I'm sure it's very nicely engineered, but the main useful thing about it would be ongoing support from a proper team of engineers..
