The average age of a first time home buyer is now 38. An all time high I believe. And this is what Distraction Donald is doing today.

CONFIRMED: Arturo Suárez, the musician imprisoned by the Trump admin without due process in El Salvador for 4 months is FREE.

A video shows him telling his brother that while they were imprisoned, they were beaten daily by guards. Remember: this is the first ever mass release from CECOT.

EPSTEIN-Trump is playing games. He’s seeking disclosure of grand jury material but that requires court approval which the law is VERY hard to satisfy. But the government TODAY can disclose all the other investigative material on its own without court approval. Why isn’t it doing that?

Will not be on tonight because of (far more important) breaking news. Wrote some thoughts here. Wishing everyone a safe night. bsky.app/profile/katm...
Unbelievably horrified by this attack in Boulder. We don’t know the full story of the attacker, but no matter what it is, let me be clear: Senseless, antisemitic attacks do not help Palestinians, Jews, or Israelis.

Committing terror attacks against people standing for hostages is disgusting.

THREAD: We’ve reported that Veterans Affairs officials have warned that Trump’s cuts are hurting veterans.

VA Secretary Doug Collins called our story a “false narrative,” but did not say anything was inaccurate.

Here’s what our story revealed and how we engaged with the VA.

We expected 2,000 people out in GOP-held Greeley, Colorado.

11,000 people showed up.

Something special is happening, folks. Now is the time to organize in every dimension possible and get to work.

A long time friend was singing Elon’s praises last week. Loved that he was “finding all this waste”. Didn’t care about the legality of it.
Boy has his tune changed now that his wife’s job is on the chopping block. Unbeknownst to him, her public health job may lose funding. SMDH. Still my friend tho

Some of the most interesting parts of the Smith report are investigative challenges, including Twitter’s refusal to comply with court order to protect secrecy of subpoena of Trump’s account.

Every Democrat, every single one, and every liberal or progressive activist should make sure they refer to him as ‘President Musk’. Trump will not be able to handle it.

When they talk about privatizing Veterans’ care and Medicare, they mean allowing companies to provide healthcare for a profit.

But how do companies make those profits? By *denying* care to many who need it.

Don’t get fooled by the “privatization” label. It means “for profit” and YOU are the cost.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.

Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Good news for once!

We’ve found a 300-year-old coral that’s so big it’s visible from space. It’s now considered the world’s largest. Best of all: it’s not yet harmed by climate change & global warming.

It’s being called a beacon of hope. Let it also be a call to action! #DoSomething 🧵
