Damn it. I loved Facebook, until it grew more and more evil and I felt dirtier and dirtier for using it, and eventually I had to quit it. I've been feeling twitchy about Instagram, and there's no obvious replacement, but I may have to quit it too.

I would like to share something.

A year ago, Trump won and I was furious and scared so I sent a text to a few of local women I knew and asked them to join me at a meeting and invite like-minded women they knew. A few showed up, then a few more. We became a group called The Salon and we meet monthly

It has felt for some time that we are focused on the tantalizing gotchas coming for bad people, to the extent that we are not focusing enough on the actual appalling harm that was done. This is a good reminder of why it all needs to be exposed.
Epstein survivors just demanded the release of the files in this new PSA. Watch it here.

Yesterday, we put out a report on the most important issues to voters.

We know that immigration now tops the traditional most important issues question (see below from @yougov.co.uk).

But that doesn't tell the full story.

Here is a rundown of the experiments we did to test this out (A THREAD):

Local Labour councillors came by. When my wife said she planned on voting Green, because she was disgusted by the way the gov't was chasing Reform voters, their response was that it was harsh to blame locals for what the national party was doing. Didn't offer a hint of support for the gov't.

NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:

OMG I nearly missed it.

What a day that was!

These people are cruel and arrogant and corrupt. But also, they are stupid and incompetent and unable to admit when they're wrong.

Four Seasons Total Landscaping Day was a beautiful self-inflicted humiliation. Perfect, chef's kiss.

We didn't have our Friday-at-home #cocktails yesterday, on account of being all anxious about our cat having run off. But Mysha came back (hooray!), and all is well, so let’s have those cocktails now, shall we? These are Amsterdamages. Cheers!

I love threads like this.

Informed, and informing, about a specialist subject.

Taking care to say that ignorance of the specialist subject, for most of us, is not only fine but totally understandable.

Having a dig at those who could support the specialists, but don't.

In the United States the President is deliberately dismantling the White House, while in the United Kingdom we are doing nothing to stop the Palace of Westminster from falling apart.

Much the same can be said of our respective constitutions.
