One of my colleagues and her students are installing historic markers commemorating the removal of the Wyandot from Ohio.

In 1843, the Wyandot tribe was forced to leave Ohio. They had to walk 150 miles from Upper Sandusky to Cincinnati, leaving behind all they built in the Sandusky River Valley.

Got to see the largest surviving fragment of the 17th century Chehel Sotoun rug today. Marketed as the largest rug ever produced when it was cut up and sold off in pieces. Legend has it that it took 2 elephants to carry it from the Deccan to Isfahan. Who knew this was at the Cincinnati Art Museum?

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
