Clark County has over a half million people. More than 2/3 of WA-03 and as a county has been trending blue for years. And they want us to roll over and take what MGP gives us. Shameful.
Over the past several months, I’ve heard passionate support for our two-term incumbent Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, and I’ve heard serious concerns. Read more here: clarkcountydems.com/2025/05/1463/

empathy is important, people falling down those rabbit holes NEED to know that you their loved ones will be there for them when and if they leave

but empathy must be paired with a hard line. "No I do not believe this. No I will not debate certain things. If you cross this line we no longer talk."
I think this comes from a good place but I disagree. A common thread in deradicalization stories is stigma: Once people start losing friends and jobs they reconsider their beliefs.

Obviously you should try to be nice to people but you also need to draw a line where you won’t engage anymore.

Deep-red town pushes back against ICE seizing children—and wins.

This is why doomerism is so toxic. It demotivates, at a time when action is both needed and (at least sometimes) effective.

Hey @gluesenkampperez.house.gov maybe stop saying “people in southwest Washington care about election integrity” to justify your SAVE act vote when the *republican* auditor in the largest county you represent said it will disenfranchise voters in our district. You’re out of your depth. Resign.

A lot of people have asked what it will take for elected Republicans to shift against the regime, and as I explain, the answer is: When they accept that this story only has one ending for them.
