This is why I go nuts when people compare AI water use to agriculture or something. Do we need an overhaul of our systems? Sure! But humans need to eat and we don't need Garfield robbing sexy Pikachu at gunpoint. You're comparing apples to rubber chickens.

Kids back in the earlier times of the internet literally had entire websites that were basically kid-focused games.
Famous companies would have at least a handful of flash games to attract kids to their sites. Now most of it is "Download an app! Pay $$ to unlock exclusive stuff!"

I feel the clients now using GenAI to do stuff and going "good enough" when they used to nitpick at every last detail is due to them finding out all those nit picky changes take time and work they cant be bothered to put in.

Did you know that less than 1% of ppl have different coloured eyes [heterochromia]? One of the most famous is Henry Cavill. The same % of ppl are trans. Both are normal conditions. It would be crazy to persecute ppl with heterochromia. It’s crazy to persecute trans ppl.

I'm starting to really believe that the only way to get a runaway success is for companies to fund like 20 new projects, 19 of them will either fail or make no impression, and then the 20th will resonate with audiences and create tons of merch opportunities like Bluey or KPop Demon Hunters
