If my feed is gonna be talking about Nirvana the Band for the next week, I need more of you to watch the sublime crossover they did with Mega64 a few years back that went mostly unnoticed. They get a lot of mileage out of what first looks to be a simple premise and then keep going. Love it to bits.

it's so funny how streaming services are notoriously desperate for you to Just Keep Watching, Don't Think, Just Watch and Paramount+ is so bad that it can't even do this right. Even with autoplay on, moving to the next episode is a click on Next Episode, a click on Start Episode, AND a 30 second ad.

I see a lot of people say that Sunsa is the "weakest" section of VOTOMS, which is completely insane to me. Not only is it where the narrative and themes actually start to come together, it's like 75% the series' best episodes by volume. Zophie! Chirico vs. Ypsilon! The attacks on the ship!

I have reached Post-Modern Prometheus in my X Files rewatch and I think everyone is actually wrong about this episode? It is often cited as the one where they go "all the rapes were okay because the monster Just Wanted A Partner" but on a rewatch it's actually subtly different!
