haven't played FFV since emulation days on zsnes like 25 years ago but gotta say it's really charming and the job system is a lot of fun. it gets overshadowed by VI but it's scratching an old school rpg itch for me

2025 was pretty tough and 2026 is going to get tougher. All the years working on my animation this is the hardest its gotten and I'll have to make some difficult decisions throughout the coming months. But... I've made it this far. Guess I'll just keep going.

all the ai image editing nonsense on twitter is frustrating since I have a much larger and receptive audience there. blue sky is nice but I believe it has a very narrow favorability towards art and my work just doesn't fit into that, which is why I can barely build an audience here.

Some of my favorite non-MGS doodles from this year. I want to draw a bit more outside my comfort zone next year (there's a snes rpg piece I want to do). Funny because when I'm drawing I want to animate, and when im animating I want to draw. I can't sort myself out!

Hate to sound like a geriatric but the older I get the harder it is to find time to play many games throughout the year so I'm not all that invested in awards shows. But I am looking forward to Resident Evil 9, Pragmata and Romeo is a Deadman which should hold me off all next year lol
