I fell down the Gundam hole so that will be a lot of what I post about but I also like other stuff such as Metroid, SMT, JJBA. Allegedly, I am also a musician and composer but no one has been able to prove it yet :0

I think the late UC stuff that was created before Unicorn at least is worth checking out. The world presented in Hathaway's Flash, F91, and Victory doesn't even really feel like the same one from Unicorn to me tbh.

This was a good episode. I like that they show up to a mine and immediately inadvertently start a worker's uprising. That was pretty cool of them.

I suppose Dunbine does have a bit of it, but I just think to me L-Gaim is the point at which it goes from a background element of his works that occasionally comes up to suddenly being like one of Tomino's biggest fixations
And especially with Zeta and ZZ coming right after

I think these decals might just be too old. This kit was reprinted last year for p-bandai so I assumed when I bought it secondhand that this was from the 2025 reprint but if I'm reading these dials correctly this is actually the original 2006 printing of this kit so these decals are 20 years old

well ok RIP cockpit details for real now. I'm not too bummed because I can probably just paint some of it later bc the details of the controls are printed on the piece. They're just not in color.

It's nominally a story about mercenaries hired by the new government fighting to wipe out the guerilla fighters of the holdouts of the old dying government, but it feels like that's more of a backdrop to a lot of stories of human drama that intertwine with each other in really compelling ways

I've just finished the second story arc of Votoms. And it was so good!! Way better than the first one.
My favorite new character is Ypsilon. He's supposedly the finalized Perfect Soldier that Fyana was a prototype for but he's even more impulsive and emotionally driven and kinda pathetic
