Equality & Human Rights Commission faces devastating challenge:

See press release & announcement.

Trans Exile Network supports this release and is yet to lodge its GANHRI submissions to strip EHRC of recognised status. 'Crowing' by the EHRC is sorely misjudged.

“Why should trans people build their lives in a country which continues to demonstrate its hostility? Unless the government takes urgent action, the threat won’t just be to trans people’s human rights, but also to our economy as we make life harder for business, and drive talent away.”

What I am about to say is probably illegal. But if it saves lives I do not care.

We trans people have the networks & experience to support parents of trans kids being detransitioned, with alternatives.

Risk jail or see a trans kid die? I'd rather be on the right side of history.

Ongoing dilemma for the Establishment - report this in an attempt to monster trans people and risk the possibility that kids might be involved, therefore letting the public know that trans kids exist and have agency, or suppress the news and add to the sense of media complicity.

This is a very important legal case, whereby the enforcement of equal human rights for trans ppl, ruled by the European Court of Human Rights, is actually carried out by the British govt. Having not done so, as legally required, brings the British state into disrepute, & undermines human rights.
ANNOUNCEMENT
This evening, 14/10/25 the Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective and the Trans Exile Network have taken the next step in the struggle to restore the human rights, dignity & safety of UK trans people.

Why do we keep talking about trans healthcare?

Because of statistics like this.
Because every day waiting, in this world obsessed with harassing trans people, is a battle that many don't survive.

So, we keep talking about it, and keep fighting back against systemic transphobia.

If a dad has been there for a child, supported them through thick and thin, picked them up when they were down, laughed with them, cried with them, loved them like their own, but weren't their 'biological' dad, they'd still be their dad right?

You couldn't say they 'identified' as a dad.

It's always the people who aren't being targetted by labour fearmongering about reform doing that same...

Like read the room, you cannot scare us into voting labour by telling us reform will do the things already happening to us under labour.

One of the unexpected things I've learned from my advocacy for trans people is how malignant parts of the State can be, how it can misuse data for positively evil purposes. It's taught me people can't be safe with a digital ID card and so I've signed this. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...
Petition: Do not introduce Digital ID cards
We demand that the UK Government immediately commits to not introducing a digital ID cards. There are reports that this is being looked at.

It doesn't matter if digital ID cards work or not. The real purpose is to aggregate all personal data into one place so it can be combined with CCTV and mass surveillance.

This is the real reason behind the US / UK AI tech partnership recently announced at Trump's second state visit.

When I graduated college it was a criminal offence to be gay & 14 men, on average, were jailed each year in Ireland. Suicides were a drumbeat. The only option was to flee & find safety, which I did, in Britain.

Now the UK is persecuting LGBTQ ppl, whilst Ireland does not. So Brits are …
