This number is completely made up. There are not 30 million undocumented immigrants. The most recent estimates are around 14 million, of which roughly 8 million people have been here for over a decade.

The widely quoted number I saw regarding SNAP recipients was 42 million. 186,000 is 0.44% of 42 million. Even if the entire 186k was fraud/waste, it's less than 1/2 of 1% of the recipients. It does not make the program broken or full of corruption.

I participated in building Biden’s Official White House website, and given that it was an official government resource, the restrictions on political messaging were considered deeply important and severe. This is a joke. It of course breaks the law, but deeper, it breaks the very spirit of the law

With SNAP being lost at the end of the week I keep thinking about how we almost ended food insecurity in children when we had the COVID checks. The US government could ensure every child was safe by investing in Americans, but the president is investing in other countries and ballrooms instead.
