DOGE did real damage to real people. Americans lost jobs in all 50 states & DC. USG a great deal of institutional knowledge. Its cuts in USAID led to a significant number of deaths from preventable causes. One report projected an additional 14M deaths by 2030 as a result of the cuts.

Vet Voice Foundation has been key in advising courts about the damage these deployments have done to the Guard and military. We're heartened by this decision but won't rest until all Guardsmen get to return home to their families and communities.
We are pleased the court agreed with us: deploying National Guard troops in this manner is unwarranted and damaging to our military. Maintaining the clear line between domestic policing and military service is essential for our institutional integrity.
