HOW DOES THIS GRIFT KEEP WORKING
Oh for fuck sake. How is anyone still falling for this bullshit? You can’t just dig tunnels in Florida. Our unofficial state fish is the sink hole. Anyway. RIP Harry Potter land, swallowed by Elon Musk’s giant unfinished hole in the ground probably.
Elon Musk’s tunneling company tapped to link Universal parks
The company is best known for creating the underground Las Vegas Loop. But little is known about how The Boring Company intends to proceed in Central Florida, including how it might approach constr…

America turned its back on Jim Crow half a century ago. Tonight, House Republicans voted to resurrect it through their primitive, suppressive, and aggressively misnamed “SAVE America Act,” which is designed only to save Republican politicians from their own severe unpopularity come November.

Our movement is growing and we're proud to receive the endorsements of Gov. @mikiesherrill.bsky.social and Senators @corybooker.com @andykimnj.bsky.social. Unifying as Democrats is more critical than ever before to fight for our nation's futures and narrow the GOP margin in Congress. Let's win this!

one thing that comes across in these clips is that bondi is totally out of her depth. just an absolute lightweight. barely sentient.
holy shit -- Bondi's new tactic is refusing to answer Democratic questions, then using time during the next Republican questioner to smear the previous Democratic member and accuse them of being complicit in violence crimes

I’m very far from the only person saying this, but it seems clear what is happening in the camps is worse than anything we’ve seen in public so far—including Minneapolis.

At some point we will know the truth about the camps. I am very afraid of what we will learn.
"A modern-day concentration camp ... People have been killed by the staff here." Irish citizen Seamus Culleton has been in ICE detention since September, despite having a valid work permit and his own business in the US.

There’s gotta be a German word for the cursed experience of reading the Fulton County affidavit after reporting on the 2020 election in extreme detail. Even redacted, every niche witness jumps out—many conspiracy theorists with no real expertise. The US government treating them as credible is nuts.
BREAKING: The supporting affidavit for the warrant to search Fulton County election records has been unsealed.

The only thing that surpasses her contempt for the People's Branch is the contempt the People's Branch has for itself at this point. The Founders simply did not anticipate elected officials with such little regard for their own power & their oaths.
Folks look at you're crazy when you say we're in the midst of the worst, most unprecedented Article I constitutional crisis in American history, & then Cabinet secretaries don't get immediately impeached & removed for behaving like this in front of the legislature that oversees them.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

I'm occasionally reminded of how Stross's Accelerando had "Economics2.0" which was how the post-Singularity AI's organized society. As far as any non-AI's could determine, Economics2.0 is a bunch of chatbots scamming each other.

Anyway, turns out that really nailed it.

It opens up HUGE liability for the US government.

Trump is suing the IRS over substantially the same disclosures -- for $10 billion.

The tax agency only recently discovered it improperly disclosed tax information on thousands of the wrong people to immigration enforcement.
