As a keen forager whose speciality is seaweed and sustainable sourcing I beg you to sign this. There are currently two corps with applications to strip the Irish west coast of seaweed. We cannot let this happen.

Please sign and share. #irish #ireland
''Acadian Seaplants, a massive Canadian corporation and owner of Arramara Teoranta, has put in an application to harvest tens of thousands of tons of wrack from huge swathes of the west coast.''

Sign the petition and lets stop this from happening ✊️

There should be a public consultation on this plan opening soon but lets gather signatures to demonstrate the fact that up and down the west coast, thousands of people don't want our seaweed rights gi...

On Monday I'll be officially announcing an artist search for a book cover illustration (not cover design, just the illo). Budget is €1,500 ($1,770). No AI. No spec work required!

If any #artist, #illustrator, or #designer out there has suggestions on where else I could publicize this, let me know!

News: I was cut yesterday in a newsroom-wide layoff affecting 300+ staff at The Washington Post.

I spent the last decade leading and building the award-winning Graphics team. I'll miss them.

I'm now exploring senior graphics, cartography, or leadership roles. Intros welcome.

Bibi's wrist brace is deceptively simple but it gets me through cold days with less pain better than any other. And seriously, you should have seen the work that went into those backpacks.

BUY HER STUFF. IT'S GOOD.
Happy Black History Month!

It costs 0$ to Repost a Black disabled queer small business! It could lead to my next sale.

I sell pins, compression gloves, artist gloves, back braces, knee braces, wrist braces, compression socks, cute bags & more!

If you have a front-load washer, doing separate cycles (not auto-soak followed by wash) is critical to get the water change. "Quick wash" is very popular as a first cycle when working with biohazards. And yes, cold water - never hot.
Put your stuff in the washer all on its own, to avoid cross contamination. Run it on a rinse cycle with cold water.

Elected officials know too - the letters we get whether local, state, or federal are sometimes quite the read. Hand delivered to our homes because our addresses are public record and they don't trust the people post office or the office staff - they might be in on it or "suppress the message".
there are two kinds of people: those who have worked intake for legal organizations, and those who have not.

you really don’t know how insane the general public is until you‘ve done that.
there are in fact extremely graphic allegations against Thomas in the files BUT they’re contained within an extremely weird, rambling email that does not seem reliable

This book was the first "romance" book that I had read since I was a teenager. It's post-apocalyptic fiction and there isn't any more sex in this than there is in something like Altered Carbon, which is "sci-fi".

It's great. You should consider reading it if you like post-apocalyptic fiction.
In 2020 @totallydonna.kitrocha.com & I started a trilogy about 3 book nerds (w/ superpowers) who just want to build a library for their community but shitty tech bros suck so they have to keep doing crimes.

Tor was kind enough to put book one on sale for $5.99!
