The last of the three kinds of cookies I baked today - pistachio spritz. I didn’t take a picture of the peanut butter maple, but those are my favorite.
I also mixed up three more for baking later this week.

I love the whole "I don't have kids in school anymore, I shouldn't have to pay taxes that go to the public school" argument from people.
It's the classic "I got mine, fuck you."
I have no kids.
I never want kids.
Take more of my tax money and put it towards schools and not cops.

Discussions have begun in my family for naming the Thanksgiving turkey. We always name it after someone we don’t like and we try not to repeat names. This year’s early suggestions are Karoline and JD (but I think we had JD last year). There’s just too many to choose from.

The next rescue intake is 11/23. Lots of herding puppies and little dogs. I put in for the three basset hounds and Milo.
