I was so disappointed with the messed up hot cocoa cookies that I made another four batches. These are the peppermint ones and they look better. The other ones will go in the donate pile (they still taste good, they’re just not the same hot cocoa cookies I’ve been making for 10 years).

I have to say this is the only flavor I thought I might not like. Don’t put savory in my sweet! But it was delicious. You could really taste all the flavors and the pepper was a perfectly slow, mild heat.

The vanilla chai pinwheels. Did I forget to put sugar in these? They’re not my favorite, as my nephew used to say when he didn’t like something. 😁 They don’t taste like chai (or anything) to me. If you don’t like sweet things, you might love them. They remind me of whole wheat bread.

I went to a new (to me) fancy chocolate store and bought some feelings. It says to eat them within 12 days, so that’s two per day right? 😁 then it will be time to start my Vosges Haut advent calendar.

Back at it. Toffee snowballs with mini chocolate chips, pecans and pieces of toffee. Unfortunately, some of them broke apart when I rolled them in powdered sugar, and they had to be…. disposed of. 😇 #CookieParty
