So how do we undo the strong mayor amendment and bring back up the public safety changes that would re-align the budget to a better spending spread for services from post-2020?

Did we ever hear a reason regarding the eviction moratorium? I can't find a clear answer.

With how the Senate is treating MN I am really nervous about the HJR 140 vote on wrecking the BWCA I called our Senators but like most things the last decade we are at the mercy of other States.

Wish more dudes would learn to knit. Wife showed me how to knit, crochet and sew and they bring massive amounts of satisfaction, although I suck bad at them. Got me to also try embroidery which I found I like as much as making things with 2x4s which I also suck at. Trying to say it is great.

ICE ROLLED UP ON MY BLOCK 20 MINUTES AGO AFTERMATH MY ASS
Actually, one more thing. The story isn’t over. But it’s mostly aftermath stories now. It’s not going to be people who are there to cover as it happens. It’s going to be quieter work that you’ll see in print in 9 months.

To be clear, I counted HCSO deputies, State Patrol troopers, and DNR Conservation Officers among all the police present. MnDOT plow trucks blocked roads entering the area around Whipple, which obstructed the way for at least one ambulance. This is on Sheriff Dawanna Witt and @governorwalz.mn.gov.

To be clear, the current administration is demanding further cooperation with their version of DHS/ICE operations, which goes far further than the existing law that requires cooperation with those offices already. HCSO is complicit and has been.
Learning that during Obama’s administration, Hennepin County Jail had an office for ICE agents really crystallizes the bipartisan nature of immigration enforcement. It also neutralizes the current posture of the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

We’ve seen lots of reports of legal observers being arrested in North Minneapolis, South Minneapolis, and Eden Prairie. Exercising your first amendment right to observe is not a crime.

This is exactly why congress can’t give another penny to DHS.

This is just part of patrol. ICE threatens you, points guns at you, brutalizes or kills someone in front of you. Every day it's somebody new in our circle. We gather around them while they work through the stress and fear and then, to the person, they go back out.

My friends are so insanely brave.
Friend who's part of a neighborhood watch group says their car was just surrounded by ICE. Is fine but obviously rattled.

We reviewed more than 100 Minnesota license plates attached to immigration enforcement vehicles in recent weeks.

We found that nearly 60% were not registered with the state of Minnesota, including the Chevy Tahoe that federal agent Jonathan Ross traveled in the day he fatally shot Renee Good.

Honestly what has he been doing besides a press junket? I get spreading the word of what is happening is important. But has he been on the front lines anywhere besides a podium? Most of the city council is on the streets, same with our MNLEG members, and even some of our Federal contingent.
