I give Catholic bishops a hard time often for all the obvious reasons, but this is beautiful and loving, and I'm deeply grateful to hear it. This can change hearts and save lives.

Google, Apple and their peers have “traded risk for complacency — too afraid of offending the president, losing access or inviting a subpoena,” Aaron Zamost, a tech communications consultant, writes in a guest essay. “Big Tech now serves power before it serves its users.”

Dear @nytimes.com public editor or ombudsman needed now: it was a shame when it stopped and their Sunday columns went away. What was revealed today is so unacceptable and tragic.

Maybe teams should get 10 mercy points when playing OKC? 9th game they’ve led by more than 20 at half!?

Yep. Happy to kick anyone to the curb who participated in this. Don’t care if I was a fan or supporter in past: if you were part of this, bye bye
Regarding sex predators and their enablers, I am squarely in the camp that says relevant questions are things like “what happened to the victims, have they gotten justice and help?” and “what happened to the perpetrator, caught and in jail?” not at all “what political party is the perpetrator in?”
"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.

Down with the sex predators, wherever they are.

The fact that Trump is calling Mace and Boebert today pleading with them to remove their names from the Epstein petition at the last minute tells you everything you need to know about how incriminating the info in the files is to him and his cronies.

The same crowd yelling “lock her up” spent decades shielding predators and playing dumb.

🚨 NEW: House Democrats just released emails where Epstein wrote Trump “spent hours at my house” with one of his victims—plus messages showing Trump knew a lot more than he’s ever admitted.

The sheer number of people Trump pardoned — 1,500+ — and the magnitude of violence many (most?) of them committed means it is statistically likely that a fair number will be revidivists, potentially for more egregious crimes. The pardons should be a top story EVERY DAY
Welcome to “justice” in Donald Trump’s America.

A little bit of history worth knowing. If it’s history, they are trying to wipe it out, to make room for the absurd tales of eternal innocence that bring fascism and bloodshed closer.

Bullies gain power when their misconduct succeeds in causing righteous people to yield in the face of wrongdoing. That’s why voting for Trump's continuing resolution - without any protection against his health care cuts or his growing illegality - is a mistake.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.
