Saw my muse Jeff Tweedy with his family band and love how they have transformed the live versions of Twilight Override (New Orleans!!!) and Sukirae/Warm tracks like Diamond Light and Family Ghost. Amazing he now has 8+ records worth of solo material and now two amazing touring bands

Dear Indiana Pacers fans, this is how you welcome a player back who you cheered for a decade or more. In fact, many of us cheered his best shots as he scored 23 with 6 rebounds and 3 assists for the other team. Can’t wait for Brooke Lopez’s return to cheer for him. Myles was done wrong

Saw David Byrne’s concert tour last night in Chicago. Beautiful. Joyful. Love and Kindness is the new punk rock and resistance. Hope this tour keeps going to I can see again.

Just finished this powerful book about Iran’s women’s movement, inspired by people there whose protests and resistance have come at such awful cost and persevere. The last line of the book is an inspiration for all of us: “Long live resistance and hope” @ntabrizy.bsky.social

An evening with Elvis. Gotta say singing What’s so Funny About Peace Love and Understanding with a 1,000+ people hits differently right now. Wish he had sang Brilliant Mistake (He thought he was the King of America…) but he said it was too on the nose.

Last week hiked in Grand Tetons. Saw 2 bears, 2 moose & 2 Central Bankers. We were staying at national park lodge where Fed’s Jackson Hole summit was. I saw Chairman Powell at breakfast & thanked him for his independence. He said he appreciated it. Saw LaGarde while getting water.

Yep. Grand Tetons this week with early morning hikes that left no time to check news or listen to podcasts or watch anything.

By a long shot Bertha, the Grateful Drag, is the best Grateful Dead cover band I’ve ever seen. Incredible singing and harmonies and a joyful energy that permeated the jams and kicked the whole experience up a notch from anything I’ve seen before. Bravo At Vivarium Milwaukee with great Roxy Toxin

Sitting in this conference room next to the train tracks. Heard the whistle earlier before meeting in this room and kept hoping I’d get another. Thanks for dividing my attention today #BobDylan
