@govevers.wisconsin.gov is doing what’s right: protecting Wisconsinites from Trump’s cruel plan to claw back food aid.
Gov. Tony Evers fires back at Trump's FoodShare claw back demand. 'It's not going to happen'
Speaking at a La Crosse food bank, Gov. Tony Evers criticized President Donald Trump's effort to block states from providing food aid.

Congressional Republicans voted to increase health care premiums. Republicans are playing games with your health care.

Data from Office of the Commissioner of Insurance shows that if they let ACA tax credits expire, 60+ year old Wisconsinites could pay $33,000 more each year.

We will continue to fight against the Trump Administration's efforts to take food away from Wisconsin's kids, families, and seniors, and we are eager for the court to resolve this and provide certainty for families and businesses.

Consistent with a court order, Wisconsin legally loaded FoodShare payments to cards. Now, the Trump Administration has spent the last 48 hours making a last-ditch effort to yank those payments from nearly 700,000 Wisconsinites, including 270,000 kids. It's pathetic.

If reposting this causes just one person to vote against this misrepresentative, that would be great.
Maybe if Derrick Van Orden spent less time tweeting and more time actually talking to people in his district, he would know the issues actually affecting his communities. Instead, he is creating fake outrage directed at one of the largest cities in his district. https://bit.ly/4oreFTQ

Hey CoCoDems! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the monthly meeting tomorrow morning (Saturday November 8th) at the Portage office. We’re collecting non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry in Portage. If you can bring something to help fill this box to over flow capacity that would be ❤️!

This dysfunction and chaos cannot continue. This is folks' lives and livelihoods we're talking about here. Republicans need to end the shutdown now.

Wisconsin Democrats have been hosting food collections across the state to help people who lost their food assistance due to the GOP led shutdown.

And communities are stepping up — the @lacrossedems.bsky.social donated over 750 pounds of food to a local pantry. Thank you to everyone who helped!

This is the last thing families need on top of their already skyrocketing costs.
