When I was in my 20s I submitted a screenplay to agencies. It got rejected, but one sent back a handwritten note: "Thanks for submitting, you will be a good..." and the next word was illegible. It was either "writer" or "waiter" and to this day I don't know which.

you don't have to put on blackface to get social media attention. you can simply develop mild depression, join a menswear forum, spend the next 15 years arguing about pants, and then weaponize the knowledge against your enemies on social media.

Love taskmaster. Highly recommended.

I’ll tell you what I like about that new Superman movie is it looks like a movie that a 70 year old grandparent, a 40 year old parent, and a 10 year old kid could all go to together and all have the same level of enjoyment and I think that’s kind of sweet. That’s what Superman should be

Does it seem to anyone else like Saturn is trying to discreetly back away?
If you need a breather from all this bullshit, here's a photo of Earth.

From Saturn.

In a grim world, I welcome a little silliness and fun. (Even if I actually personally have never enjoyed Mario Kart, which I think is a bit like admitting you don't like sunshine or the laughter of children.)
Nintendo’s Switch 2 is out today, and with it “Mario Kart World.”

With a seamless world, classic game modes and a vibrant soundtrack, the marquee launch title does all it can to earn the $80 price tag, writes @gene.meme.

Actually, this isn’t true. No such play or movie was ever produced.
'Gaslighting' comes from the title of a 1938 play and the movies based on that play.

The plots of which involve a man attempting to make his wife believe that she is going insane.
