I am once again begging a streaming channel to make a Hallmark style Christmas movie around Danny Trejo. Hear me out:
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work

That’s such a unique idea. I would have never thought of that.
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"I'd be happy to help. What topic are you working on?"
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"No, you can't leave that here."

I’m putting my marker down now: Shapiro out of PA is running in ‘28. He’s gonna run the Kennedy-Clinton-Obama playbook with a side of “if Kamala would have named me as VP we would have won”

"This isn't who we are!" - false, ignores history, keeps harmful systems in place

"This isn't who we should be!" - true, imagines a better future, includes everyone.

Just gonna drop this here. Amazon is forcing a new AI feature on authors whose books are available on Kindle. This is a petition to give us the choice to opt out, because currently, we cannot.

I just received a plastic cherry blossom tree with led flowers. Then a text from MIL arrives bc she saw it and thought of us. Every holiday and birthday I remind myself it’s the thought that counts. Hubbys response was why are the thoughts always WTF? And they spent how much on this? WT?!?

On this giving Tuesday I remember Suzanne, the neighbor I had that won powerball. She never quit her job as the receptionist at a construction firm. She paid all her bills, set money aside for retirement and her kids and then just started giving it away. Scholarships. Paying peoples medical bills.

every author in the class action, please file the claim.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

I interviewed for a job at a prestigious university where the initial interview was 1 dude in a standard hotel room. I’m in my nicest suit bought on credit he was in sweatpants and scratched his crotch the whole time. Bypassed me for a guy with less qualifications

Youngests HS had its last football game/marching show of the year last night and when our team won the other team decided to riot. Today social media is flooded with parents explaining in all caps that yeah their kid left in handcuffs but obviously it’s someone else’s fault.

Adulting moment: I always thought that becoming an attorney was hard and meant you were smart. I’m on a community committee with a lawyer and misleading another committee member texted and asked me to shine a light on the attorneys ear — she wanted to see if the light passed through.

Fun fact: NCF's new overlords spend $134K per student (!!...the average at other FL publics is $10K) www.insidehighered.com/news/governa...
