Staring down the barrel of a 30 minute headway on 14th St NW at 7 am. Better Bus has been an abysmal failure. @wmatagm.bsky.social deserves to be fired for screwing over bus riders.

This Barry Svrluga column from the Commies game yesterday is absolutely brutal on Dump. Worth reading.

Column | Trump’s visit flies in the face of his past with the NFL and its players
The president criticized the league during his first term but has since changed his demeanor.

Pretty amazing listening to Dump play his hand during the broadcast about being involved with the stadium. "I've been heavily involved, making sure all the permits are approved."

God I love how he's putting Bowser in this bind: "Either support naming the stadium after me or I kill the stadium or at the very least kill your political career with my BS investigation."

Love it!
President Trump would like the Commanders’ new stadium named after him, though no formal talks have occurred, ESPN reported. Trump will be in attendance at the team’s game on Sunday — the Commanders expect the topic may arise during his visit.
Trump Stadium, home of the Commanders? The president is not opposed.
No formal conversations on naming rights for the Commanders’ new D.C. home have been held.

This is a great story. MPD officer amazingly enough actually enforces traffic law. Unfortunately perp runs and kills a moped driver.

Hey @karlbode.com, I think this is one of the nutritionless infotainment evergreen journalism at the Post you keep talking about. Meanwhile, no story about the Post's darling Vichy mayor of DC being investigated by the feds for a corrupt trip to Qatar.

DOJ (allegedly) investigating Bowser. NOWHERE to be found at the Post's website. Shameful.

Yes of course, he *only* attempted.

News: Ward 4 Councilmember Janeese Lewis George has started telling people she’s running for mayor, per several sources, confirming months of speculation about her political future.

She’d be the first major candidate to declare for 2026. Now the question: what will Bowser do?

I just want to add that bringing in driverless cars is absolutely not going to do anything for congestion because it still has cars on the road but instead having drivers who have to be responsible for their driving its this blackbox company with no solutions and no accountability
This interview correctly focuses on too many cars being the cause of congestion, and there is plenty of discussion about expanding and improving public transit. Yet nowhere in these 7 minutes are bikes ever discussed as a transit option.
