Challenging cases of light chain proximal tubulopathy. Only real clue was eosinophilia of proximal tubular cytoplasm. Crystals essentially invisible on LM (including tol blue); only few proximal tubules on EM with focal crystals. Glad I did the pronase IF. #renalpath #pathsky #nephsky
