as i keep saying, the things to do to secure elections are to volunteer to work the polls or to serve as an observer, & to pressure your *state representatives* to take steps to further secure voting locations and ballots. you should also learn about how election administration works in your area.

Also issue 2 and 3 are still on sale. I am actively reading for issue 4 so please send me amazing poems and tell other folks to send me amazing poems.
Postcard is still here but it's a one-person job and that one person just got real busy and life got in the way. Over the last month I've been steadily catching up on submissions. I'm getting back to the work of putting together an incredible 4th issue. Postcard is still open for submissions!

Frog and Toad went for a walk.

Toad did not trip over a rock. He did not bump into a tree. He did not fall in a hole.

That's 4 calls a second, and that's only the calls logged on our site and apps.

Done. If you call rn as I just did you'll probably also get to leave a voicemail and not even have to talk to nobody 😅
If you're in New York, please take two minutes right now to call Governor Hochul and tell her to support and sign New York 4 All, which would prevent state and local agencies from collaborating with ICE.

This is important.

Call volumes are extremely high right now 💪 Lots of reports of phone lines being "unavailable"

IF you get an "unavailable" msg, try staying on the line a little bit longer. You might get sent to the voicemail box after that.

Or try a local office! Those #'s are also available on the apps/site. 👍📞🤓

YOUR PHONE CALLS TO THE SENATE ARE WORKING. KEEP CALLING.

202–224-3121

Three Democrats who previously broke with the party and voted with the GOP are now saying they will not vote for the bill. That’s enough for the bill to be unpassable right now.
DHS funding bill faces new Senate hurdles after another person killed in Minneapolis
Some Democrats who voted for recent funding bills said they'll vote against any DHS bill without restrictions on enforcement operations. The deadline to avert a shutdown is Friday.

Frog and Toad were caught in the rain. They ran to Frog’s house.

“I am all wet,” said Toad. “The day is spoiled.”

“Have some tea and cake,” said Frog. “The rain will stop. If you stand near the stove, your clothes will soon be dry.”
