I'm teaching a lower-level CW class (focused on flash fiction), and I have a student who is a strong writer and wants to explore it further but my school does not offer any other CW classes.
Is there a list anywhere of online fiction courses? I really want to offer them some resources.

Student used AI to write responses to flash fictions, but didn't realize these stories aren't "famous" or in textbooks so only including the author and title was not enough. That means AI just guessed on the plots based on the title...

Y’all. My wife always makes me an amazing birthday cake, but this one for my 40th is insanity. It’s a chocolate cake, each cake layer has a NUTTER BUTTER CRUST, there are layers of edible peanut butter COOKIE DOUGH, and a chocolate CARAMEL butter cream. I wish I could share it with all of you.

A little reminder that I'm making my triumphant return to AWP this year after a 7 year absence. I've met and worked with so many of you online since then and I'd love to meet y'all in person. I'm also very open to reading if you need someone to (probably) read some surreal ekphrastic prose poems.

Have an idea for an 80s style cartoon based on Rocky where for no reason he's working with the FBI to bust up crime syndicates and has to go undercover as a boxer in disguises like 70% of the time. The other 30% he has to go undercover as a wrestler or a bouncer.

We started season 2 last night and my man is most assuredly NOT having fun anymore...
I’ve always liked Billy Crudup, Big Fish is a favorite movie, but he is fucking incredible on the Morning Show. He’s the one character having fun on the show and he plays it so well.

Every now and then I like to remind folks that this movie exists, it is amazing, it is one of the best movies of the last 10 years, and it completely broke me. I don't think many people saw it because it's on Apple TV.
