When the Patriot Act was passed, libraries got requests for patrons’ borrowing history. We were prohibited from disclosing those requests.
We deleted and shredded those records and stopped tracking reading history for that reason.

I work in large-scale manufacturing in a small town. The Fox News misinformation is so strong in my department, and it takes every ounce of strength to just bite my tongue. Outside of work, I would totally speak up, but it's just not worth arguing with these MAGAts
