This week at work one of the deans made us Hello Kitty pancakes, and we did karaoke where we sang the Spongebob Squarepants theme song.
(I planned an entire conference, we discussed mental health services, lining up CDL funding, etc. But we are only adults when it is necessary!)

📚 Years ago I started working with the prison library system in Colorado, mostly to get rid of a huge amount of deaccessioned reference materials. This snowballed into a CO prison library consortium/ILL system. A lot of people, including CLiC and @aspencat2000.bsky.social , worked on this.

It’s really hard to make Michelle Pfeiffer unlikable in a Michael Showalter movie but “Oh. What. Fun.” managed it in record time. I sat through about half of it so I can’t tell you if she grows to realize that she has a narcissistically self-inflicted martyr complex.

I keep trying to sign up for assembling the holiday gift boxes for the needy, or working at our campus food bank... and all the volunteer slots fill up within 10 minutes of anyone announcing they need help 😊 How awesome is that?
