I think often about the child abduction of the first term that a majority of 2024 American voters clearly had no deep moral objection to. Hard to describe the combination of despair and rage it fills me with.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

HAPPYEND: Don't sleep on Neo Sora’s fiction feature debut as it's a poetic portrait of youth in crisis. The kids are more than alright – though their world is not in this quietly incisive snapshot of a film that really snuck up on me 📽️
