From this minister's op-ed: "People wanting to experience God are more likely to meet the Divine trying to shut down the Broadview, Illinois, ICE facility than we ever were in church...God does not live in our houses of worship, but...with those who are bearing the brunt of cruelty in this moment."

Those of us who are SA survivors are used to the mass shrug in response to even the most overt evidence of horrific behavior. Epstein's crimes and the complicity of many influential figures involved have been known for decades (’05 to be exact). It's never mustered much interest or consequence.

NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

People can stand up. Good change is possible.
I’m going to think about watching this moment unfold in real time for a long time.

for all the horrors coming out of Chicago and its metro area, the principled courage of everyday people, in the face of such intimidation, never ceases to astonish. www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/12/k...

A world that allows an influential, entitled, ignorant man to just shout down a smarter and more knowledgeable woman 👉can literally kill you.👈

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

Fine info but the crucial details are:
- 8 was exactly the number needed
- None of the 8 are facing reelection in 2026

Those 8 voted yes so the others could safely vote no. Any Dem Senator not calling for Schumer to step down for this can be safely assumed to be in on it, regardless of their vote.

Mamdani created vision that shamed this cowardice: by having standards, and then showing everyone what his standards are, and then proving that he truly held those standards by standing for something without shame. This tapped into something powerful.

Social media being made by Canadian millionaires hoping to become Canadian billionaires with Canadian genAI. People, just start making your own websites again and bring back RSS

This would be so much more appealing if they weren’t using genAI. It’s such a huge turn off, the ethics are atrocious, it’s environmentally disastrous, and it communicates a real lack of respect for/awareness of the audience they’re hoping to attract.
