I honestly don't really know if Carney needs to be more firm with the US or not. I usually have a good read (at least enough to know where my position is). I think what I learned in 2025 was to take a step back from Trump Chaos and let it play out over time.

When would they feel that heat? The GOP and their billionaire donors are already working to sink the midterms in a wash of propaganda and dirty money, Congress needed to "step up to the plate" ten years ago.

Again, this is what we created when we allowed politicians to use social media for “official” statements. The leader of the opposition should not be making public statements about what other countries should do, but we’ve allowed it so this is what we get.
