And then a decade from now when a fresh Lib government tries to fix the damage while also refusing to raise tax revenue or do anything that will upset property owners and the business owners in their fundraising networks. Flat lined economic and social development.

How much of that decline is predictable of any new government? (Not to dismiss the post, genuinely curious if there's a predefined pattern where new governments start high and slowly decline and we're more talking the size/rate of decline?)

That should do it.

Quick fixes:
1. Restart phone (shut down fully)
2. Update iOS; delete any downloaded iOS update in iPhone Storage
3. Safari > Clear Hist & Web Data
4. Offload + reinstall heavy apps
5. Messages > Large Attach
6. Files > clear Downloads
Still high? Backup, erase, restore from backup.

It’s plaque.

We don’t process many orders each week but across the ecommerce providers it’s pretty hard to totally botch the checkout process.

Best Buy on the other hand is TRYING to enshitify even as they actively pivot to rely on their online services.

What browser are you using?

I’m not trying to convince you, I’m pointing out that your first statement was deeply flawed and didn’t contribute to a discussion. We could talk about how the case played out, but starting with “the big bad govt is running amok” is not a great start.

How does that speak to your original post? You clearly implied that there deficiencies in testing, and proof of health (testing). Also they had their arguments heard in court. There’s nothing to substantiate your accusation of a power grab by the agency.

It is otherwise. Even if we consider Deputy Ministers (a lot less temporary), they have oversight over the CFIA and are literal experts. Your original comment not only ignores that but also makes claims that are simply repeating misinformation.

They love to tout Remembrance Day as proof of knowledge of our shared history, while also doing everything in their power to otherwise demonstrate that they fundamentally don’t know/understand our shared history. Acting tough for the poppy while dismantling the lessons of the war.

Explain to me how the CFIA, a government agency that reports to the Minister of Health, who reports to the PM, who is responsive to Parliament, which is governed by laws and elected by the people, explain to me how it has no oversight.

From the reporting I saw those folks were taking pretty poor care of a decades old member of the family.

It’s really clear that they’re desperately underfunded, especially for reporting outside of Southern Ontario. It’s good people trying to do good work in a system that’s been thoroughly enshitified.

They need to stop putting them on camera without making a point to detail their failure to properly care for those animals. It’s the same as letting anti-maskers to rant and not calling them out. It causes real harm.
