I'm afraid there *is* an obvious answer: it can't.

This is crazy. They really think 10 million UK *families* are using Musk’s fash platform as their primary news source? They didn’t think that might not be, you know, accurate? Absolute bubble brain behaviour.
If there is an argument then this is the argument. But lol I can’t find where this obviously false stat is coming from. And if the government does believe more than half the families in the UK are using it as their primary news source then woah maybe time to up the scrutiny of it!

Zack Polanski: Starmer and Farage have proven their craven cowardice on Venezuel
This weekend has proven it beyond doubt - Keir Starmer is a coward.

I mean, at this point a "counter narrative" on X is an image of a fully clothed child
Cabinet Office Minister Baroness Anderson tells the Lords the Government will keep on using X.

"I still believe that X is an appropriate platform to use because I believe in freedom of speech..."

"It is incredibly important that there is a counter narrative on those platforms," she says.

no way to describe Starmer's whole vibe other than "prey animal"
#BBCLauraK to Keir Starmer: "You've been incredibly clear, that Putins attack on a sovereign country, Ukraine, was wrong & ought to be condemned. What about Trumps attack on a sovereign country of Venezuela.. will you condemn that action against a sovereign state?"

Starmer and Farage both drape themselves in flags but once again it's really clear where their loyalty really is.

It's Trump first. They will always be on the side of the super rich and powerful - no matter how heinous the crime.

This is not patriotism. It's subservience.

I reiterate my support for international law while at the same time supporting an action obviously in breach of international law. And if you think there’s an inconsistency there, you just don’t get how grown-up politics works.
Keir Starmer explicitly backs Trump's attack on Venezuela.

Says he has "long supported" getting rid of Maduro, who is an "illegitimate President" and "we shed no tears about the end of his regime".

This is an incredibly weak response from the EU, and a dangerous position to take.

Maduro's legitimacy is not the issue at hand. The US is acting as a rogue state, and will embolden other states to use unchecked military power for their own ends.

We need international law, not gangsterism.
I have spoken with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and our Ambassador in Caracas. The EU is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela.

The EU has repeatedly stated that Mr Maduro lacks legitimacy and has defended a peaceful transition. (1/2)

The PM and Foreign Secretary should be condemning this illegal strike and breach of international human rights law.

After years of arming a genocide and worshipping the “special relationship”, Trump now believes he can act with impunity.
Trump just kidnapped President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela
