Scot mostly found in the West Midlands. Social democracy. Probably the only person to hold a season ticket for both Aberdeen and West Brom.

I don't agree with that in the workplace.
Looking forward to the #WBA marketing email dropping at 10am tomorrow.

That is the first time #WBA have registered consecutive home Championship defeats since October 2022.

I think it is the heaviest Championship defeat since the Championship became the Championship (2004), although my research on that is about as slipshod as tonight's performance.

The players will - rightly - take criticism. This has been truly dreadful. But a lot of them are crying out for help and basically getting none of it.

I thought some of the assessments of Friday's performance were generous, but this has been a dire way for Ramsay to make a first impression. #WBA

I was being generous earlier when I said this is as bad as anything Mason served up at #WBA. It's clearly and obviously worse.

Dire start from #WBA. Every inch as bad as Swansea first half under Mason. But, as much as individuals look poor, the structure is not helping them at all. Bielik and Styles need another body with them to progress the ball, as do the CBs - being swarmed by Norwich press and look totally overwhelmed.

I have left my position at South East Water. I am delighted to announce that I have rejoined Brooklyn Beckham in an advisory capacity. Thank you, Brooklyn, for the chance to serve.
Delighted to announce that I have been appointed as Head of Water Supply at South East Water.

I would like to place on record my thanks to Brooklyn Beckham for the opportunity to serve as his legal adviser, and also to Shay Given for the session that I conducted last week as his history tutor.

Did he miss that deliberately? I genuinely don't know what I'm watching now.

On the Morocco penalty: If the referee gives that on-field, fine. It would be soft, but it wouldn't be overturned. But it should never be enough for VAR intervention having not been given on-field.

I haven't watched much of AFCON, but I must compliment Morocco's Abde Ezzalzouli on his impeccable taste in footwear.

Seems unfair that you only get to use the bouncy slide to get off a plane when things have gone wrong. The bouncy slide should be a treat they give to the best passengers who did the flight correctly.

Just spotted that the Caledonian Sleeper has added a stop in Birmingham.

I suspect it's something I will end up doing once to/from Aberdeen and then decide to never do it again, but I suppose it's cool to have another option.

International instead of New Street is a bit of a pain, mind.

What the hell has happened to Kyogo? He just looks utterly lost whenever I watch Blues. Probably a good thing for Celtic that he's not going back there.

Viper on Gladiators has a rubbish gimmick, and he also seems to be useless at a lot of the Events. A total loser!

Chris Mason is roughly what would have happened if Peter Drury had pursued political journalism instead of football commentary.
This is truly awful prose

I would have liked it if one of them at the dinner table had just said: 'I want to go to Ibiza with the lads and just get on it, to be fair.' #TheTraitors

Pfannenstiel saw this when doing his research into Aberdeen and thought, 'Right, lads, a clear red line: understood.'

Saying that about 'identity', the real challenge for the next four games is putting points on the board: Norwich (H), Derby (A), Pompey (A), Stoke (H). Far from easy, but a decent run of results can buy some breathing space and give Ramsay more scope to experiment with things later in the season.
January 16, 2026 at 10:28 PM
Weird one. Clearer identity in first half, but that approach means conceding first is going to require a quite fundamental shift. Really messy on the ball. Didn't lay a glove until 2-1. Some positive in-game changes, but also thought dial moved too far to begin with. Winning goal far too easy. #WBA
January 16, 2026 at 10:05 PM
Well, #WBA going to have to come out and play now. Increasingly felt like Boro were chaining attacks and we couldn't get anything going on the turnover.

It's certainly a bold way to approach your home games, even against the better sides in the league. An early test of Ramsay's adaptability.
