I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

A bizarre aspect of our time is how plainly unhappy most billionaires are. For every Mark Cuban, who likes sports, or Warren Buffett, who likes trading stocks, there's 50 absolute freaks with malformed personalities, an insatiable urge to cause suffering, and an incurable sense of victimhood.
The billionaires do not have normal human relationships with people who don’t want anything from them so they have to boil the oceans to build themselves friends

Anyone else notice that Biden pardoned Hunter on Sunday, just in time for a wk's worth of news consumption (as opposed to hiding it in a Friday news dump)? He didn't announce it in the midst a couple hundred vetted & cleared pardons, or on January 19, 2025, using the inauguration as a distraction?
