People are saying they "don't believe Homan." But they are missing the point. Homan is saying that he won because he got Democratic official to concede to his terms. This is not about the truth of what he is saying; this is about his intent.
Commentators seem to be missing the main point of what Homan is saying -- he says that AG Ellison and Walz agreed with him that "County jails may notify ice of the release date of an inmate just as long as they don’t hold them past the release date."

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

My sense of Minnesota today is that there’s less tear gas and the same amount of unlawful detention, destruction of families, loss of livelihood, people in hiding.
