In an effort to spin the shutdown deal, the New York Times says there was no agreement among democrats about what kind of policy was needed to re-open the government. As a social experiment, can you name the policy we all agreed on to re-open the government?

Remove Durbin and Schumer from leadership immediately. Remove all of the 8 that voted with Republicans from leadership. Primary all of them. We're sick of this weak, useless Dem party.

Exactly - Ulta really means it re: inclusion
Ulta was for everyone before that was cool and they remain for everyone now that it's not cool anymore, and I love that about them.

Ulta is also a no-for-real supporter of actual diversity and inclusion. No matter who you are or what you want to look like, Ulta’s got you
For the cover of Businessweek’s December issue, I wrote about the reigning queen of America’s strip malls: Ulta Beauty, the country’s biggest beauty retailer (yes, bigger than Sephora) and quietly one of the more fascinating retailers in the country. Gift link: www.bloomberg.com/news/feature...
How Beauty Behemoth Ulta Conquered the American Strip Mall
The retailer built an $11 billion business by acting more like Home Depot than like Sephora.

Republicans constantly attack their Congressional leadership, and they remove leaders who fail to achieve the objectives desired by the base.

This 'infighting' hasn't been a 'distraction' or 'weakness' for them, it has produced victory after victory, including control of all three branches.
Oh yeah - never a convenient time to have some real talk about the dynamic that the Democrats in the Senate are led by bunch of chumps. Certainly not after they created the conditions for yet another base demoralizing surrender.
This kind of activity is just what you should want to see, if your are a Republican, eager to see the opposition distracted by self-destructive infighting.

I’m no Kardashian fan but the CA bar is notoriously the hardest. I’m on the east coast - everyone knows California is the hardest. Except maybe Louisiana for different reasons, stupid-ass Napoleonic code
Everyone is dunking on Kim Kardashian. The truth is the California bar is notoriously hard, the pass rate was only 55%, the pass rate for people who didn‘t go to an accredited law school is way lower, and lots of very smart and dedicated people don’t pass the first time and become good lawyers.

If Senate leadership’s goal was to demobilize and depress rank-and-file Democrats, they could not have played their cards better.

This is why we’ve launched the largest primary program that we’ve ever run.
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...
