Trump's poll numbers are in the toilet, Dems won BIG on Tuesday, but @schumer.senate.gov decides that NOW is the time to capitulate in return for NOTHING. Pathetic lack of leadership. He owes it to the American people to step down from his leadership position, and make room for a real leader.

There really should be a coordinated effort to force Schumer out as Minority Leader as a result of his failure here.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.
Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.

Dem leaders like Schumer and Jeffries are playing by rules that don't exist anymore. They're predicated on the assumption that everyone has the same moral aptitude to do what is right for the majority, even if they disagree and are in the minority. And that.. just doesn't happen anymore.

Schumer was as ready for this moment as Merrick Garland was to be Attorney General - not at all. And it's going to cost all of us, and set us back for years to come. Shameful leadership by Schumer. Just shameful.

I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.
It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.
