Based on the ballot-processing data, there appears to be 8,120 votes ballots left to count for the city.
But of those, there are signature challenges on 1,703 of them. This race could be decided on which voters get their signature problems resolved.

A few weeks ago I zoomed with a group of high school students and their adult mentor to discuss taking social action. I am thrilled to report that this group of 10 students raised $10,000 in two weeks to support their local food pantry. They sent me a photo and it has them all jumping and I tear up.

With another 56,000 votes counted in the Seattle mayor's race, Katie Wilson has narrowed the gap with incumbent Bruce Harrell to just 4,300 votes, and received just under 55 percent of the vote in the latest count, with perhaps 50,000 votes remaining to be counted. That's a solid turnaround.

Pretty big turnaround in the latest (small) batch of about 36,000 Seattle ballots, which went 51.6 percent for Katie Wilson and 48.1 percent for incumbent Bruce Harrell.
Overall, the new numbers are 52.6 Harrell, 46.9 Wilson. Yesterday, those numbers were 53.8 Harrell, 45.7 Wilson.
