I'll repost this occasionally so we can keep the list going. In addition to Ober and Strider we've got Simeon Woods Richardson (Twins) and Will Klein (Dodgers) who have shown opposition in some form to federal occupation. I know Kiké Hernández had spoken out when LA was invaded, so let's add him.
Keeping a running list of baseball players who are speaking out (via social media or comments to reporters) against the ICE occupation of Minneapolis or related topics. So far we've got Bailey Ober (Twins pitcher) and Spencer Strider (Braves pitcher). Any others?

The Pohlad family, who own the Minnesota Twins, got asked at FanFest yesterday about what are doing to stop ICE violence in their community. After a wishy-washy 🤷 response, the fan suggested they call Trump because he listens to other billionaires. Worth watching!: www.reddit.com/r/minnesotat...

They can’t manage to not deport us citizens? Is that a joke?

we lost David Lynch a year ago today (and in the time since, I've seen "fix your hearts or die" on more protest signs than ever before). what I wrote at the time:
“Fix Your Hearts or Die”: David Lynch’s Work Has Always Been Deeply, Powerfully Queer
The filmmaker was so much more than just an influence on his legion of LGBTQ+ fans.

Rojava, the largest actually-democratic project in the world, has entered what might (or might not) be a last desperate stand.
After the failure of negotiations in Damascus, a general mobilization has begun in Rojava. Youth from northern Kurdistan appear To have crossed the border to join the defence. it feels like 2014 again, complete with horrific executions of SDF prisoners.

ICE got plenty of money when Chuck Schumer folded and now they're saying fuck you. What a shock. If anyone continues to fund the government at the end of the month they are Republican.

This is exactly right any elected official telling you that you should be carrying your documents if you are a US citizen they are part of the problem and they are allowing your rights to be stripped away from you. the way you stop that from happening is by not complying as that is legal.
I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

"Yesterday's civilians become tomorrow's insurgents after today's atrocity."
Non-protesting dad just trying to hustle his kids, as young as 6mo, out of the neighborhood. ICE threw a flash-bang INTO HIS car, all 6 kids in the hospital now.

If anyone wondered how things turn against occupying armies there's a case study playing out in front of you.
