Wow. This is so weird. I get the anger and frustration, but for the most part the people out protesting are NOT the ones who voted for tax cuts and deregulation, and not the ones who promoted bogus recycling.

Hey, nice to hear from you. I think we don't really have good metrics on how widespread fraud is, but I think there is good evidence that it is on the increase, especially because of paper mills and predatory journals. And I think the scientific community has been more than a bit complacent.
Looking for a way to do something? read the EPA reversal of the endangerment finding, and then file a public comment explaining why it is false, wrong, misguided. Your comment can be scientific, legal, or just about what the American people want..

I dont agree that broadly Harvard has “elevated identity over excellence in the selection of students and faculty…” On the contrary, that’s what Harvard did in the past when it exclude women, Jews, & people of color.
