The air heat pumps we use in Canada can.

Just some facts in light of the heat. Heat pumps can also cool. Nuclear power plants can only run at reduced capacity.

Congratulations on your PhD, Adeboye and Vasu. This is an outstanding achievement. #convocation

A new climate Transition Plan organization launched in Canada: Business Future Pathways.

Risk / emission disclosure is a start, but a transition plan is for action. In a sinking boat, counting the leaking holes isn't enough, plugging the holes is a necessary solution.

Last year, Pakistan installed an incredible 22GW of solar—more than Canada has ever built!

Pakistan initially committed to slash emissions 20% by 2030. But in 2021, it upped that commitment to 50%, as it's a win-win: switching to clean energy addresses poverty too.

Remember when banks were scrambling to respond to activist pressure and show they were climate leaders? In Feb 2021, Royal Bank of Canada announced they would put $500 billion into Sustainable Finance by 2025. Yesterday they abandoned that goal. Oh the good 'ol days.

If you want Mark Carney as our Prime Minister, don’t take anything for granted today.

Trump won in part because too many people didn’t think he would.

Think how you’ll feel if Poilievre wins a close election & you didnt #VOTE for Carney.

This is no time to take chances.

TURNOUT WINS ELECTIONS.

We got our Canadian election voter card in the mail this week, and will be taking advantage of the 4 days of advance voting that will make it easy.

Remember, the polls look good for Carney, but DON’T be overconfident.

Polls don’t win elections.

Neither do pundits.

TURNOUT wins elections.
