By day I'm a producer in the games industry, happily making little spreadsheets and Gantt charts, and by night I improvise nonsense or wander around stage with a microphone.

A few days ago, I stood in the graveyard of an 1100 year old church, getting damper and damper in the drizzling rain.

A woman walked into the graveyard, waved, said hello, and, as we had previously arranged, handed me a paper bag full of human bones.

The life of a churchwarden is a strange one...

everyone wants another Concord they can point and laugh at and feel smug about while forgetting the fucked up state of the industry that pushes talented people to chase trends and not make what they want

I commissioned Lian to do a stage portrait of me after seeing his femme Tintin art and I love it so much!

I love this podcast, it feels tailor made for me.
There's a new series of The Comedy Bureau starting tomorrow. I'm really excited about it. Obviously, like most things I've ever made, it's got a hearty "meh" from the world, but I think it's good. Subscribe on your pod player if taking comedy too seriously interests you.

Happy to announce we have an update to the Autism Food List:

Sweet potato fries are now deemed "edible" thanks to a change in regulations (my brain flipping a switch for no reason)

I went viral once completely unexpectedly and it caused a bunch of games people I followed to make snarky superior comments about me because obviously they had no idea who I was so that was fun.
who the fuck WANTS their posts to go viral, have you ever had that actually happen? it's like getting a winning pull on a slot machine if wasps started pouring out the bottom instead of quarters

I am aware of course that comedy is entirely subjective and that people have different tastes and so no one comedian can be universally liked.

But there are definitely acts who if someone doesn't like them I do become slightly suspicious.

Having one of those days were I look at the state of the world and wonder what I'm doing sitting here making silly little toys for people.

There is actually only one Midsomer Murders episode I can't stand but it's not for quality reasons, it's just generally quite unpleasant. I've been forewarned which of the X Files episodes is probably going to elicit the same response from me.
X Files seems to be falling into the Midsomer Murders category for me, in that an episode may technically be bad but I am still going to confusingly have a good time with it.

Continuing with X Files and did you know there are ghosts in space?

just watched a military ad that said "those who know what it means to serve" which sounds like a gender neutral term for drag queens

I made the mistake of attempting to have a low energy, low sensory day as I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, but sadly I live in a mid terrace and my neighbours have been having a dubstep party for the past six hours.

Looking at Leicester Comedy Features tickets.

19:50 - Chloe Reynolds: Ticking Boxes
21:00 - Sam Hickman: First Woman

The venues are seven minutes apart.

Am I ridiculous enough to try it?

I realise I'm just a freak, but living in a multicultural city is the best thing of all time, it's just the best possible human experience and i can not understand why anyone on earth would be like "weve got to destroy this"

Rewatching Wake Up Dead Man, and gosh the scene where Father Judd talks to Louise, the excavator company receptionist/planner about her mom. Just setting aside the case to be a priest.

I have a lot of complicated feelings about religion, but that scene is beautiful.

Many, many of my peers in school were determined I should watch, and would enjoy, Kick-Ass. I found reasons to leave part way through every time. It is abysmal and cynical and cruel and I hate it.
What is the movie you have seen the most times that you would say you do NOT like?

A year ago today I did a double bill of therapy and a WIP show by Frankie Monroe. Which is... Very me coded.
